3 Nassella tenuissima Whitmore Village, 923 Ihi Ihi Avenue, near the elementary school. Residential landscaped area, appears to be a planted ornamental grass. Planted with Cordyline fruticosa, bromeliads, various lawn grasses. Yard separated from road by a rock wall and several feet of grass. Plants were growing mostly next to the rock wall (street side) and around mailbox, and in the front yard. On the driveway gate, there was a for sale, plants only sign. Preserved_Specimen Bunchgrass ca 0.5 m tall, similar to fountain grass. Leaves very narrow, linear. Lemma with long awn. Cultivated, 19 mature plants noted, various sizes; no seedlings present.
