Flowers zygomorphic lower petal largely yellow with white to pink ciliate margins, upper 4 petals whitish pink also with ciliate margins, sepals darker pink. Flowers scent reminiscent of orchid. New growth flushing red. Leaves simple, arranged on short lateral branches that are 30-50 cm long, 8-20 leaves per branch appearing pinnate in habit. Woody liana twisting and climbing roughly 20 m into canopy. Fruits green/white with large wing observed but in canopy. |
