Growing along trail in restoration area with Pritchardia kaalae, Nephrolepis exaltata, Metrosideros polymorpha, Notolea sandwicensis, Sapindus oahuensis, and others. Preserved_Specimen Plant intermediate between the cultivated horticulture form of N. Cordifolia and what appears to be N. Exaltata. Distal pinnae have auriculate bases overlapping rachis like cultivated cordifolia but plants robust like exaltata with broader pinnae (especially sterile ones).
