Tap root very pale yellow-brown, the stem abruptly reddish-purple at ground level, becoming yellow-green above to pale green at tip of plant. Stipules pale green with red-purple bases. Leaf medium green above, slightly glossy, below much paler; filiform appendages at base of blade mostly red-purple, petiole pale green. Flowers with calyx pale yellow-green at base becoming green at apex; petals yellow. Pods green. |
