Area dominated by Psidium cattleianum and Dicranopteris linearis but also growing with Diospyros sandwicensis, Metrosideros polymorpha, Acacia koa, Ceodes umbellifera, Labordia tinifolia, Microlepia setosa, Deparia prolifera, Cibotium chamissoi, Blechnum appendiculatum, Alyxia stellata, Carex meyenii, and others. Preserved_Specimen Largest fronds roughly 1 m tall. Plants mostly 3-pinnate-pinnatisect becoming 3 pinnate at distal portions of frond. Sori marginal-submarginal.
