Leaves: Basal. oblong, rarely oblong-oblanceolate, 0.8-1.3(-1.8) cm long, 0.2-0.45 cm wide sessile and +/- clasping the stem, with l-3 bracts per scape that are slightly larger and more leaf-like toward base glabrous, sometimes sparsely hirtellous on margins and veins, the hairs usually golden or purplish, rarely also with a few scattered, subsessile, globose glands Margins serrate in upper 1/2, glabrous or sparsely hirtellous.
