1 Agave weberi Kapaa: Mahelona Hospital In succulent garden. Preserved_Specimen Plant with inflorescence approximately 7 meters tall; rosette 2X2 m. Lvs. green, somewhat bluish, w/glaucous bloom & patterns of unfolding lvs. imprinted w/ white edge both sides. Stem of inflorescence pale green, slightly bluish, w/ bracts edged purplish-brown; branches occupy terminal 1/3 of inflorescence, are +/- 3 branched. From ground oldest flowers appear rich butter-yellow w/pale yellow exerted stamens. Newest are paler, more green-yellow; Flowers on ground 6-8 cm. long; ovary 3 X 0.75 cm. to 4 X 1 cm.; mostly greenish, brighter yellow at base; petal dull orange-yellow; filaments brighter orange; anthers yellow.
